Are we there yet???

Jade came with us this year and she was super excited on the trip up! Kept checking the windows to see what we were driving by (she loves car rides).

This is her, checking out the driveway, just as we turn into the lane for the cottage.

Gorgeous yellows were everwhere here! Leaves were lovely.

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Glorious Sun...

.....flower that is...
Out taking pic's of the falls in Almonte as they are tearing the living heck outta it. Making changes to better the hydro generators performance....cutting a huge channel to direct water to the new turbines lower in the river.
At this point its hugely scary, no water, just rock, and blast debris. Horns sound, foundations reverberate over and over. I work in a basement, so I don't even hear the horns warning of a blast...I just feel the sudden boom. Freaky!
Geez...Almonte's built on rock...imagine that!
So, after getting lots of pics of that sad site...I found this sunny face on my way back up the street.
Wish a wee bee had been handy, but heck, I'm not chasing down a bug....least of all, one that can sting me!....
Summer Sunshine, brillant!

A Rose, by any other Name....

.... would smell as sweet.

Mother's Day, brought me to be the proud recipient of a gorgeous bundle of soft yellow roses (my favorite colour!) They sweetened the whole house with their glory for ages before they finally fell.

Of course I had to get the camera out.... and this is the way my hubby see's em....he's fully colour blind, so he see's no colour's at all.

Just plain and simple, black and white.
