This old unused 'road' is near my house. It does go back into an old farm homestead. Mostly maples in the front, and the gate keeps folks out. As you can see, no one has even ventured up to the gate all winter. Its lovely back there, but private property. (although I do know the folks who own it/work the land, so I can go back with permission, just gotta call)
I love the way it invites you down, yet, the way is blocked at the same time. My eyes gaze down the path, waiting for spring to come.
