Frontenac County, had to stop

The shoreline left a lot to be desired, but the far shore was lovely!
We also had about 10" to pull over, so parked carefully, snapped some pic's and moved onwards.

OMG! Jealous!!! I have ZERO time to get in the car and go looking for beautiful scenes like this.

Good on ya for taking the time!!!!

Don't forget the rule of 3rds... which basically means: divide your viewfinder into 3rd from top to bottom, and in 3rds from left to right... and NEVER put your main subject or horizon lines on either centre line.

The 2 books I just finished by Scott Kelby advise that when shooting landscapes you should pick either the foreground (in this case the water) or the skyline to put your emphasis on.

In this case, if the shoreline was crappy, but the water has a nice warmth to it, why not include just a hint of sky, and zoom in closer to the trees?

It's SO tempting to just include everything in a shot... I know!!!

Solid work Jen! These are all really good!
