Whew!

I think that might do it tonight...lots of new stuff...
mostly, just cause I've been going stir crazy without a camera, since mine calved a couple weeks ago.
Now, got new gear...still a point and shoot, (I'm really really partial to the Lumix!, Panasonic Lumix DMC FX-500) but lots of new stuff for me to try, along the lines of the DSLR in some ways...so that's all good.
and mum, went back to town on Sunday, and bought my 2nd choice too...for her mind you.
Canon PowerShot SD 880 IS.
so...got two camera's to play with now (I can borrow mum's anytime)....and I'm back in business! (so to speak)...lol
enjoy...
I kinda over did it below, there's a few ...too many?
heheheheh
I'm just so thrilled to be back in the game.
cheers!
Jenny

Sunset Looking East...all green

this one I took with mum's new camera, set on green only. There's another further down with the colour that mother nature allowed...and no tweaking.

Duck on a Rock??

Nope, this isn't that picture. This is Rock on a Fence. Spotted this with mum's new canon set on the colour isolation feature (whatever its' called...lol)
bits of green..that's it.

oh to be young again....

I remember doing this as a kid...watching the water flow...some culverts are bigger than others. This one is only about 18 or 20" across?
anways...we found out it takes approximately 6 seconds for a leaf, once dropped, to make it thru to the other side of the road.
kewl!
lol

Grey/Green

Well, not quite grey, but close...
the fields are so bare right now.

Sometimes...

... help is an inspiration~!
This is my daughter Morgan, checking things out with her camera....while mummy is busy checking out the view with her new camera too~!
grey grey day...the fields are so stark
the green just livid!
and she pops too in that red and blue.
hope you like?!
I do.

End of Day

walking backwards thru the field, to get that sun back up in the right spot...careful not to trip on the long grass down all around you...
ok...
yep...
there
good.
k, I do like that.

My Creek

um....ya.... I think the mature Red wing Blackbirds will have something to say about that??
But til they come along and chase you away you silly juvenile...
thanks for posing.

in..out...

focus on the close one, far one out...
mmmm....
loving my new camera!
macro...on a breezy day...(without a tripod)
NO PROBLEM!!!!

Green road

down the side of the road, the creek blooms in riotous colour before anything else does.

Sunset looking East

Taking pics at dusk, or closing in on it, is tricky...move fast...and hurry up and wait....
the waiting, the sun cracked thru the clouds and gave me some super cool shadows heading right for the horizon away from me.
Pictured is the field, the low bushes are beaver marsh, the high tree's the other side of it.
and the fence, marking along the road.

Green carpet??

Almost yes. The creek, overflowing with water, is the first thing to green up this year. The fields are still bare-er than bare, dead, brown.
Taking into the sun is also not the easiest...so the angle leaves much to be desired, but I loved it anyways.

Spring has Sprung!!!

This is next door to my work's back door...actually, across the street...
but I had time to wander around. Hubby was more than 20 min's late picking me up this day.
Playing with my new Lumix DMC-FX500... and its got some pretty cool features on it! including a touch screen to track the subject in focus...love it on a windy day~~~~!!
Anyways, just gusty, not windy per sea...so...
and not sure what kind of tree this is...
but loving the backround as much as the focus point. Just really neat...
Now I wanna go back, get some more with the backround as much a consideration as the foreground...
man, its good to be snapping again! I've been without for 2 weeks....
cheers~!

Lilac's...

345 Sunday aft, out snapping a few pics.
Lilac's showing off in the front yard.

Daffy's and Day Lillies....

Also, as confused as the crocus below...
WTF is all the White stuff??
Used a flash here, caught water droplets on them too. Was raining by the time I got home, but the snow is still laying around 3 days later.
grrrrrr

Spring Crocus....

Not normally surrounded by snow...
but hey...
that's what we got plenty of on Monday this week. Stayed, well...still out there 3 days later.
sigh...
spring...
is coming...
I think?
ya...
crossing my fingers.
lol
