Fascinating ....shroom?

No clue what this one is or is called. Just happened to spot it the same day out as the little red ones below. The sun kept shining on it, and fading too. Really cool!

Little Red Firecracker

The mushroom's are popping up all over the place out in the woods! These tiny red/orange ones were easy to spot against the dull brown of the leaves. But tiny, no bigger than a dime.

As they Were ....

This time of year, there are so many different kinds of mushrooms growing almost everywhere you look in the woods. And some seem to grow overnight! I know enough to not pick them though. I don't know my local varieties well enough to choose the safe ones. There are many that'll make you sick or worse.... so, they stay where they are.... as they were.
